Maja Pawinska Sims set up copywriting company besparkle* in 2005. She started her career as a business journalist, including seven years on leading business titles at Haymarket Publishing.
As a journalist she has written features, profiles, analyses and case studies for national publications including Real Business, Growing Business, PRWeek, and BBC Gardeners’ World. She was the Garden Writer’s Guild Garden Trade Writer of the Year, and the top business journalist in the Haymarket Publishing Journalist of the Year awards.
She has worked with PR and marketing agencies and in-house teams since 2001, writing and editing copy for corporate marketing materials, including drafting dozens of winning entries for PR awards schemes.
Maja was born in Salisbury, and studied literature at UWE in Bristol. She is married to Andrew and their daughter Bridget was born in August 2006.
